The festivities begin
with ten tolls of the ring bell for all of the great champions
of the past. President of All Japan, Yoshiaki Yatsu, enters the
ring along with vice presidents Satoru Sayama, and Tommy Tsuruta.
Yatsu takes the house mike...
Yatsu: We are truly
honored to bring you, the faithful followers of All Japan Pro
Wrestling, THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD!!!!!!
(80,000 fans rise and
applaud as Yatsu looks around the sold-out Egg Dome.)
Yatsu: Tonight, we
continue the tradition of great men like Shohei Baba, The Funks,
Harley Race, and Ric Flair by bringing the top championship in
all of wrestling to our soil. And tonight, two great men will
fight for that prize, but one great man will walk out the champion.

(The crowd rises
again and begins to chant "MISAWA, MISAWA" as the officials
leave the ring.)
Stan Hansen/Mystery Opponent

Vader/Terry Gordy
Vader and Gordy wait
in the ring as Hansen starts to come to the aisle. He stops half
way and points back to the locker rooms. Curtains begin to part....it's....it
can't be.....IT'S THE MAD MAN FROM THE SUDAN......THE LEGENDARY
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER!!!!!!! Hansen and The Butcher charge the
ring and the mayhem begins!!!! The bell rings as Hansen and Gordy
begin throwing rights and lefts at each other. Hansen staggers
back and charges back with a big forearm to the side of Gordy's
head that sends him reeling to the ropes! Hansen charges...LARIAT
OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!!!!! Gordy tumbles to the floor and Abdullah
comes around the corner with a chair....BANG......GORDY GOES
DOWN IN A HEAP!!!!!! Vader comes down to assist his partner and
Abdullah charges him! Hansen is down on the floor stomping away
Gordy as Abdullah and Vader pound away at each other! Hansen
rolls Gordy back into the ring and continues to maul him with
big right hands! The ref is allowing the fists due to the nature
of the four men in the ring! Hansen pulls Gordy up and tags in
The Butcher! Hansen then charges Vader in the corner as Abdullah
pulls a fork out of his trunks and begins to slash away at Gordy's
head and scalp! Gordy is a bloody mess by the time the ref gets
Hansen out of the ring. Abdullah pulls Gordy out to the middle
of the ring and begins to kick him in the back with the wicked,
pointed boots he wears! He then digs his heavily taped fingers
into the eyes and face of Gordy!!!!! The Butcher pulls him up
and nails him with a thrust to the throat...another thrust and
Gordy falls back into the corner...Gordy rebounds with a MASSIVE
right hand that LEVELS Abdullah! Gordy is bleeding profusely
but manages to tag in Vader! Vader charges into the ring and
begins to pound away on The Butcher! Abdullah hammers back with
rights and lefts of his own! Vader backs into the ropes and charges
back at Abdullah with a football tackle! The Butcher staggers
back and delivers a devastating throat strike that leaves Vader
stunned! Abdullah tags Hansen! Hansen charges in and nails Vader
with a series of short head butts! He begins to pound on Vader
in the corner as Abdullah goes on the floor and confronts Gordy!
Gordy attacks The Butcher and grabs his right hand....HE'S GOT
THE FORK!!! Gordy begins to slice away with the fork as Vader
reverses a whip and sends Hansen to the corner....he follows
him in....SPLASH!!!!!! Hansen staggers out of the corner and
falls to the mat face first! Gordy levels Abdullah with a boot
and climbs back up on the apron. Vader drops three consecutive
elbows on Hansen and Gordy tags in! Vader shoots Hansen to the
ropes and Gordy drops him with a big boot! Abdullah charges into
the ring again and lunges right into Vader! All four men are
brawling again! Abdullah manages to knock Vader to the floor
as Hansen drops Gordy with THE LARIAT!!!!! The butcher sees this
and rebounds off the ropes....he's up...THE SUDAN AXE!!!!! The
Butchers elbow nails Gordy right in the throat! Hansen covers
him...ONE...TWO...THREE!!!! Stan Hansen and Abdullah the Butcher
defeat Terry Gordy and Vader by pinfall at 15:41. Hansen
and Vader tie up outside as Abdullah charges into the crowd and
starts a panic! The fans spread out to give the madman room.
The ringside crew manages to restore order after The Butcher
is coaxed back to the locker rooms.

Champion
vs.
Taka Michinoku
Both men receive thunderous
applause as they approach the ring side area. Dragon has a slight
power advantage over Taka and takes full advantage. He levels
Taka with a clothesline and immediately goes for the MEXICAN
SURFBOARD!! He's got Taka suspended in the air in surfboard position....Michinoku
is trying to wriggle free but Dragon has full control. Dragon
releases the hld and pulls Taka to his feet. He whips him to
the ropes...he follows him in...DROPKICK IN THE CORNER!!!! Taka
falls face first out of the corner....leg drop by Dragon!
Dragon pulls Taka up...sets him....SNAP SUPLEX!!! He covers...ONE...TWO.....KICKOUT!!!
Dragon pulls Taka up again....sends him to the ropes....TILT-A-WHIRL-BACK
BREAKER!!! He covers again....ONE...TWO...TH..KICKOUT!!!!!! Taka
is still going!!! Dragon sits him up and applies a rear chin
lock and leans his weight on Taka to wear him down. Dragon switches
the hold to a full nelson and pivots Taka's torso ninety degrees,
increasing the pressure! Taka is trying to get to his feet...Dragon
leans down on Taka to keep him down....he's still rising....what
an effort by Taka...HE'S UP!!! Dragon releases the full nelson...he
pushes Taka forward into the ropes...Taka rebounds back first...HURRICANA
FROM BEHIND!!!!!!! I've never seen that move performed before!!!!
Dragon covers...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Dragon
pulls Taka up again...Taka lashes out with a big kick to the
mid-section...MICHINOKU DRIVER II!!!!!!! Both men are down....the
count gets to seven as Dragon slowly rises! He pulls Taka up...BIG
CHOP.....Taka comes back...BIG CHOP BY TAKA!!!! Both men are
exchanging blows in the middle of the ring...Taka has found a
second wind! He runs off the ropes while Dragon is momentarily
stunned...FLYING BODY PRESS!!! Dragon is pinned...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT!!!
Taka pulls Dragon up...he signals for the Michinoku Driver...he
sets him...Dragon blocks...Taka tries again...Dragon blocks again...Dragon
scoops Taka up...MICHINOKU DRIVER BY ULTIMO DRAGON!!!!! He covers...ONE...TWO...THREE!!!!!!!
Ultimo Dragon defeats Taka Michinoku by pinfall at 25:51 to
retain the All Asia Jr. heavyweight Championship. Taka leaves
the ring angry and refuses to shake Dragon's hand after the match.

The Headhunters
The Headhunters charge
the ring and pace around as they wait for the champions. Ogawa
and Kikuchi enter the ring and the brawl begins as The Headhunters
attack!! Ogawa is the legal man in the ring with Headhunter II....Headhunter
is mauling Ogawa with forearms and elbows in the corner...Kikuchi
comes into the ring to help his partner and Headhunter I charges
in to attack him! Headhunter II puts Ogawa down with an ENZUGIRI
BY THE 400 POUND HEADHUNTER!!!! He runs to the ropes....SPRING
BOARD.....SPLASH BY HEADHUNTER!!!!! ONE...TWO...THREE!!!!!! The
Headhunters defeat Yoshiniri Ogawa and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi by pinfall
at 2:02 to become the new All Asia Tag Team Champions. What
a show of domination by the Headhunters!!!! Ogawa and Kikuchi
never had a chance!!! The new champions continue to stomp and
kick their defeated opponents! They destroy a ringside table
before going back to the locker rooms!!! They are booed all the
way back!

The two top men in
All Japan stare each other down during the introductions, sizing
each other up. Williams has a slight weight and strength advantage
but Kobashi has the edge in speed. Williams takes over quickly
using his incredible mat skills. Kobashi finds himself caught
in a hammerlock. Williams pulls Kobashi up and Kobashi reverses
the hammerlock. Williams escapes and Kobashi LEVELS him with
a big clothesline! Kobashi pulls Williams up and whips him to
the corner....he follows him in....KNEE SMASH IN THE CORNER!!!
Kobashi hits Williams with a series of chops in the corner and
snap mares him to the mat. Kobashi jumps....LEG DROP!!! Kobashi
covers...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT! Kobashi pulls Williams up....sets
him...vertical suplex! He pulls Williams up and locks him into
an abdominal stretch. Williams quickly un hooks Kobashi's leg
and flips him over....Kobashi comes up...Williams takes him down
with a big football tackle! Williams drops a knee to the back
of Kobashi's head and locks in a side headlock. Kobashi rolls
Williams over...ONE...TWO...Williams rolls back over and pulls
Kobashi to his feet...he whips him to the ropes....BELLY-TO-BELLY
SUPLEX!!! Great move by Williams! He pulls Kobashi up again...he
sets him for the back drop driver...Kobashi elbows Williams in
the head...he goes behind Williams...BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX!!!
He pulls Williams up and whips him to the corner...Williams reverses...he
follows Kobashi in...Kobashi NAILS him with a big thrust kick!!!
He climbs to the top rope....MOONSAULT....HE MISSES!!!!!! Williams
quickly pulls him up...BACKDROP DRIVER!!!!! He hooks the leg...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!!!
Williams pulls him up again...DOCTOR BOMB...ONE...TWO...THREE!!!!!!

Misawa comes
to the ring first and the 80,000 fans in the Egg Dome rise to
their feet to show respect to their hero. The World Champion
is the next to arrive and the crowd is almost in a trance, unable
to believe what is about to happen. A huge barrage of fireworks
go off above the ring and the crowd roars their approval!!! Misawa
and Bell, perhaps the greatest pair of wrestlers ever to square
off for the NeWA World title, lock eyes in the center of the
ring during the introductions. The bell rings and the action
begins! Both men lock up in the center of the ring...Misawa pulls
free and surprises Bell with a quick arm drag takedown! Bell
springs up quickly and Misawa goes for a hiptoss...Bell reverses
and puts Misawa down. Misawa rises and both men begin to circle...Misawa
lunges at Bell and catches him with a quick single leg take down!
He moves in but Bell rolls and quickly jumps to his feet! The
crowd applaudes the fast action of both men! They lock up collar
and elbow....Misawa grabs a side headlock...Bell goes for a belly-to-back
suplex...Misawa twists in mid-air and lands on top of Bell!!!
Bell kicks out before a one count! Misawa waits for Bell to rise
and nails him with a big chop! Bell staggers back and Misawa
follows up with a BEAUTIFUL DROPKICK!!!! Bell goes down! Misawa
goes for an elbow drop...Bell moves! Bell pulls Misawa up and
nails him with a forearm shot to the head and whips him to the
ropes....back elbow smash! Misawa staggers back and Bell drops
him with a European forearm shot! Bell grabs Misawa by the leg
and drags him to the center of the ring...SPINNING TOE HOLD!!!
Bell stops the rotation after five turns and sinks in a STEP
OVER TOE HOLD! Misawa is working his way towards the ropes...Bell
releases the hold and drops an elbow across Misawa's chest! He
rises and pulls Misawa up...Misawa lashes out with an elbow...another....ANOTHER!
Bell is staggered...Misawa goes off the ropes...FLYING CLOTHESLINE!!!!!
Bell is down!! Misawa pulls Bell up....sets him....GERMAN SUPLEX!!!
He covers...ONE..TW..KICKOUT! Misawa pulls Bell up quickly and
whips him to the ropes...Bell ducks a clothesline...he rebounds...Misawa
goes for a backdrop...Bell catches him...PILEDRIVER!!!! He covers...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT!
The Champion pulls Misawa to his feet...sets him...DOUBLE ARM
SUPLEX!!! He covers again...ONE...TWO...TH..KICKOUT!!! Bell pulls
him up again....SHORT ARM CLOTHESLINE!!!! Misawa is stunned...Bell
pulls him up yet again...SPINNING NECK BREAKER!!!!! He goes for
the pin...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!! Bell applies a crossface
and bears down! Misawa is trying to get his foot on the ropes...Bell
drags him back into center ring! Bell releases the hold and drops
and elbow smash across Misawa's face and then re-applies the
hold! Misawa is in trouble! The referee is down to check Misawa....he
lifts his hand once...twice....three times...wait!! Misawa is
holding his arm up....he's still in this one! Bell pulls him
up...sets him...Misawa blocks the suplex attempt....again...Bell
nails Misawa with a chop...Misawa answers back with an elbow
smash...chop by Bell....DISCUS FOREARM BY MISAWA!!!! Bell goes
down and Misawa falls to his knees! Misawa slowly rises and nails
Bell with a kick as he comes to his feet! He grabs Bell...hooks
him...BRAINBUSTER BY MISAWA!!!! Bell may be out!!! Misawa covers...ONE...TWO...TH..KICKOUT!!!!
The time keeper announces that 10 minutes remain in the match!
Misawa pulls Bell to the center of the ring...FIGURE FOUR LEG
LOCK!!!!! Bell is in a lot of pain...he's too far from the ropes!
A minute passes and Bell refuses to quit!! Two minutes pass and
Bell starts to try to roll the hold over...Misawa is resisting
by twisting the opposite way...Bell almost has him...REVERSAL!!!!!
Misawa releases the hold and pulls Bell up...TIGER DRIVER!!!
The ref is down...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!!! Misawa quickly
pulls Bell up...TIGER SUPLEX!!!!! Bell's shoulders are down...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!!!!
Misawa pulls him up again...elbow smash...DRAGON SUPLEX!!!!!
ONE...TWO...THRE...KICKOUT!!!!
AMAZING!!! Time is almost up...only seconds
left!!!! Misawa pulls Bell up yet again...sets him...TIGER DRIVER
91'!!!!!! WHAT A DEVASTATING MOVE!!!! He goes for the cover...80,000
FANS RISE TO THEIR FEET!!!!! ONE...TWO...THRE..KICKOUT BY INCHES!!!!
THE BELL IS RINGING!!!!!! The 60:00 time limit has expired. This
match is ruled a draw and Mike Bell retains the NeWA Heavyweight
Championship of the World. Misawa walks around for a moment
as the ring fills with attendants. The World Champion rises and
Misawa goes to him and the two warriors shake hands to the delight
