Tsuyoshi Kikuchi/Yoshiniri
Ogawa
vs.
The Hardy Boyz
Kikuchi starts out
against Jeff Hardy. Hardy begins the match at a very physical
pace. He batters Kikuchi with several hard blows to the head
and chest of Kikuchi. Kikuchi escapes momentarily and answers
back with a BEAUTIFUL DROPKICK! Hardy falls back and Kikuchi
follows up with a short arm clothesline! Kikuchi rolls back and
tags in Ogawa! Ogawa comes out fast and immediately takes Hardy
down again with a flying knee! He covers...ONE...T..KICKOUT!
Ogawa pulls him up but Hardy breaks free and nails him with a
kick to the mid-section...Ogawa doubles over...kneelift by Hardy!
He tags in his brother Matt. They whip Ogawa to the ropes...both
Hardy brothers lean down for a double back drop...Ogawa with
a sunset flip on Matt Hardy!!! He's got him pinned...the ref
drops to count as Jeff hardy rebounds off the ropes...DOUBLE
FOOT DROPKICK! He nailed Ogawa! The pin is broken up and Matt
Hardy continues the assault. He pulls Ogawa up...he whips him
to the corner...follows him in...BIG CLOTHESLINE!!! Ogawa really
snapped back hard! He slumps in the corner and Hardy begins to
punish him with kicks! The crowd boos as Hardy continues his
attack on Ogawa even as the ref counts. He stops at the four
count and pulls Ogawa back up. He whips him to the opposite corner...he
charges in...Ogawa jumps to the top rope...he jumps back and
twists...BODY PRESS BY OGAWA!!! Hardy is pinned...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!
Ogawa tags in Kikuchi! Ogawa lifts Hardy into a high vertical
suplex as Kikuchi climbs to the top! Ogawa begins dropping back
as Kikuchi jumps...BODY PRESS ON THE SUPLEXED HARDY! WHAT A HUGE
IMPACT!!! Kikuchi covers as Ogawa intercepts Jeff Hardy as he
attempts to make the save! The referee is down for the count...ONE...TWO...THREE!!!

Super Delphin
vs.
Taka Michinoku
Delphin and Michinoku
both come to ring to cheers from the fans. Both men have both
bee hailed as greats in the Jr. Heavyweight ranks. The bell rings
and the action begins! Delphin takes control with an octopus
submission about eight minutes into the match. Michinoku is in
a lot of trouble as Delphin continues to apply pressure. Michinoku
manages to get his head free and Delphin rolls him back into
a pinning position...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT! Michinoku rolls to
the floor and Delphin follows him. He grabs Taka...BODYSLAM!
Delphin climbs up to the apron...he goes for a flying elbow drop...Taka
moves...DELPHIN HITS THE FLOOR HARD! Michinoku pulls him up and
whips him to the rail! Delphin hits hard! Michinoku rolls him
into the ring and goes for the top rope! He's up...FROGSPLASH
BY MICHINOKU!!! He covers...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT BY DELPHIN!
Michinoku pulls Delphin to his feet...BIG CHOP...ANOTHER...STANDING
DROPKICK BY MICHINOKU!!! Delphin goes down again! Taka goes for
the pin...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT! Michinoku pulls Delphin up
and shoots him to the ropes...Delphin and Michinoku both go for
a flying body press...THEY COLLIDE SIX FEET ABOVE THE RING!!!
BOTH MEN ARE DOWN!!! Michinoku slowly rises, holding his head.
He struggles to keep his balance as he pulls Delphin up...he
looks like he's going for a MichinokuDriver. He sets him...Delphin
is kicking his legs, trying to get free! Taka falls back and
Delphin holds on...He's got Michinoku up now...TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER
BY SUPER DELPHIN!!! He covers...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT! Delphin
climbs to the top rope...SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! HE GOT HUGE AIR
ON THAT MOVE!!! He covers again...ONE...TWO...THREE!!! Super
Delphin defeats Taka Michinoku by pinfall at 13:28. Delphin
walks up to the now standing Michinoku and offers his hand. Taka
looks at Delphin and turns his back on him! The crowd shows it's
disdain for Michinoku all the way back to the locker rooms.
Stan Hansen
vs.
Vader
Hansen comes to the
ring first to a huge pop from the crowd. Hansen stomps around
the ring, swinging his bull rope around as Vader is introduced.
Vader makes it half way down the aisle when Hansen charges out
after him! The bell rings to start the match as both of these
monsters begin brawling outside the ring! Hansen connects with
a meaty right hand that sends Vader back into the rail...Hansen
adjusts his elbow pad...LARIAT OVER THE RAIL!!! Vader is in the
crowd and Hansen is coming after him! Hansen pulls Vader to his
feet...the referee is counting them out of the ring...Hansen
picks up a chair...he swings...VADER BLOCKS...CLOTHESLINE BY
VADER SENDS HANSEN BACK OVER THE RAIL!!! Vader pulls Hansen
up and drags him to the ring. As they move to the ring, Hansen
sends Vader face first into the ring post! Vader is busted open!
Hansen rolls into the ring just in time! He rolls back out and
pulls Vader up...BIG RIGHT...A LEFT...ANOTHER RIGHT BY HANSEN!!!
Vader staggers back...Hansen with a big boot to Vader's face!
VADER IS DOWN!!! Hansen pulls off Vader's now bloody mask and
begins pounding on the cut. The ref is warning Hansen about the
fist...Hansen switches to head butts! ONE...TWO...THREE...FOUR
HEAD BUTTS BY HANSEN!!! Hansen stands up and runs into the ropes...he
rebounds...BIG ELBOW DROP BY HANSEN! Hansen rises again and waits
for Vader to start to move. Vader rolls to his knees and tries
to rise...Hansen hits Vader in the side of the head with a kick!
Hansen moves in...Vader with a shot to Hansen's stomach! Hansen
tries to pull him up again...another shot by Vader staggers Hansen
for a moment. Vader rises to his feet! Hansen lashes out with
a left hand...Vader ducks...VADER LEVELS HANSEN WITH A FOREARM
SHOT!!! Vader moves in on Hansen...ELBOW DROP! Vader covers...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT!!!
Vader pulls Hansen up again and throws him out of the ring! Vader
is bleeding profusely from the cut he received from Hansen. He
grabs a chair...he rears back...WHAM!!!!!!!!!! Hansen is nailed
by the chair! He goes down hard and Vader moves in again with
the chair! Hansen rises again just to get drilled again with
the chair!!! Hansen is down again and the referee is on the floor!
He's right in Vader's face!! Vader backs down and climbs back
in the ring. Hansen is slowly trying to rise...his face is a
crimson mess!!! He's badly cut! Hansen struggles to get back
into the ring. He rolls in and gets up to one knee...Vader charges...BIG
BOOT TO HANSEN'S FACE! He's down again! Hansen rolls over and
tries to come up again...the ref is looking closely at Hansen's
cut. He's covered in blood! Vader charges...Hansen moves...he
catches Vader in a waist lock...BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX! Vader goes
down!! Hansen comes to his feet... the referee is looking at
the cut again...he signals to the time keepers table...HE'S STOPPING
THE MATCH! The bell is ringing! The referee has stopped the match
due to excessive bleeding by Stan Hansen at 11:46. Vader wins
by default.
Hansen drops a vicious kneedrop on Vader as the referee tries
to separate the giants! Vader comes up and Hansen NAILS Vader
with the bullrope! He's re-opened the gash in Vader's head. He's
literally gushing blood! Vader comes back with a BIG BODY BLOCK!
Both men are still swinging as the ring fills with wrestles from
the back. After a few violent minutes, the blood bath is broken
up.

Kenta Kobashi
All Asia Heavyweight Champion
vs.
Power
Kobashi and Power
shake hands at the bell. Kobashi isn't used to being the smaller
man in the ring. He is literally dwarfed by Power. They lock
up in the center of the ring and Power THROWS Kobashi into the
corner. Kobashi looks shocked as Power moves in. Kobashi lashes
out with a kick to Power's mid-section. Power doubles over...KNEE
LIFT BY KOBASHI! Power stumbles back and Kobashi nails him with
a big clothesline! Power is still standing!!! Kobashi throws
Power to the ropes...BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX!!! He covers...ONE..KICKOUT!
Power rises and shakes his head at Kobashi. Kobashi goes for
a single leg takedown...Power grabs a front face lock...DDT BY
POWER!!! Power pulls him up...whip to the corner...he follows
him in...HUGE CLOTHESLINE! He might have knocked Kobashi out!
He covers...ONE...TWO...TH, foot's on the ropes. Power is ordered
back by the referee as Kobashi slowly rolls out of the ring.
Power goes out the side and comes around to meet Kobashi with
a clothesline! He pulls Kobashi up again...HE PRESSES THE 265
LBS. KOBASHI OVER HIS HEAD! He turns and throws him in over the
second rope! Power climbs back into the ring. He rolls Kobashi
onto his face...rebounds off the ropes...LEG DROP!!! Power weighs
over three hundred pounds! That was devastating! Power goes for
a pin...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!!! I can't believe he kicked
out! Power pulls Kobashi up again...BEAR HUG!!! Kobashi is in
real trouble here! Power is right in the center of the ring!
Kobashi looks close to losing consciousness! Power cinches the
hold up and Kobashi goes limp...the ref comes over...he checks
Kobashi...he lifts the arm...it falls once...it falls twice...he
holds is arm up! He's still in this one but just barely! Power
releases the hold and whips Kobashi to the ropes...he rebounds...POWERSLAM!!!!
Kobashi must be out...Power covers...ONE...TWO...THR...KICKOUT
BY AN INCH!!! Power sits up and catches his wind as for a moment
as he looks down on Kobashi. He stands and walks to the corner...HE'S
GOING TO THE TOP! Power lines up the move...HE GOES FOR A LEGDROP...KOBASHI
MOVES!!! BOTH MEN ARE DOWN! Power starts to rise first...Kobashi
is very weak...Power pulls Kobashi up...whips him to the ropes...BEAR
HUG BY POWER! Kobashi won't take much more of this! Power keeps
the pressure on as Kobashi futilely tries to struggle free. Wait!
Kobashi rears both arms back...HE CLAPS THE EARS OF POWER!!!
Power is stunned but still has the bear hug! Kobashi boxes Power
again! He loosens the hold...Kobashi hooks his head under Power's
arm...he hooks his leg...FISHERMAN'S NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!!!
Power is pinned...ONE...TWO...THREE!!! Kenta Kobashi defeats
Power by pinfall at 26:48 to retain the All Asia Heavyweight
Championship. Power looks very disappointed but still accepts
a hand shake from Kobashi.
All Asia Tag Team
Championship
Mitsuhara Misawa/Jun
Akiyama
All Asia Tag Team Champions
vs.
Dan Kroffat/Doug Furnas
Misawa starts off against
Furnas. Misawa dominates the first few minutes of the match with
his dazzling speed. Furnas goes on the defensive. Misawa takes
Furnas down with a dropkick and tags in Akiyama. Furnas comes
up and is nailed with another dropkick! Akiyama pulls him up
and puts him back down with yet another dropkick! Furnas rolls
to the corner. He rises and goes to lock up with Akiyama. They
lock up in the middle of the ring and Furnas brings knee into
Akiyama's mid-section. Furnas backs him into the corner and tags
in Kroffat. They both begin to chop away at Akiyama while he's
in the corner. They go to shoot him to the opposite corner and
then SLAM him back into the corner. Furnas leaves the ring as
Kroffat continues the assault. He pulls Akiyama out of the corner
and whips him to the ropes...Akiyama rebounds...BACKDROP!!! Akiyama
lands hard! Kroffat moves in...elbow drop...another...LEGDROP!
He covers...ONE...TWO...TH...KICKOUT! Kroffat pulls Akiyama back
up...GERMAN SUPLEX! What a move! He covers again...ONE..TWO...KICKOUT!
Kroffat tags Furnas. Kroffat drops Akiyama over his knee with
a backbreaker and hold s him there...Furnas is on the top...ELBOW
DROP ACROSS AKIYAMA'S CHEST! Furnas covers...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT!
Furnas locks in a headlock and begins to grind on the helpless
Akiyama! He is really punishing Akiyama with this hold! Akiyama
tries to squirm free...he can't escape. Furnas is robbing Akiyama
of precious air as he leans his weight on Akiyama. Akiyama reaches
up and rolls Furnas over into a pin...ONE...TWO...KICKOUT! Furnas
kicks out and breaks the headlock! He pulls Akiyama up and whips
him to the ropes...Akiyama ducks a clothesline...he rebounds...FLYING
CLOTHESLINE!!! Akiyama puts Furnas down ! He's crawling for his
corner...Misawa is urging him on...Furnas rises...Akiyama makes
the tag!!! HERE COMES MISAWA!!! He nails Furnas with a forearm
shot and then drops him with a back elbow! Kroffat comes in...Misawa
knocks him through the ropes with a spin kick! He pulls Furnas
up...VERTICAL SUPLEX! He covers...ONE...KROFFAT INTERRUPT THE
COUNT!!! Here comes Akiyama...all four men are in the ring! Misawa
and Furnas are exchanging blows...Akiyama and Kroffat take their
battle to the floor! Furnas goes for a belly-to-back suplex...Misawa
escapes with an elbow shot! He sets Furnas for a dragon suplex...Furnas
powers out! Misawa nails Furnas with a kick...he hooks him...TIGER
DRIVER!!! He covers as Akiyama hold Kroffat at bay...ONE...TWO...THREE!!!
Mitsuhara Misawa and Jun Akiyama defeat Dan Kroffat and Doug
Furnas at 22:20 to retain the All Asia Tag Team Championship.
Misawa and Akiyama leave the ring as Kroffat tries to help a
still groggy Doug Furnas to his feet.
