Don Frye
vs.
Tamon Honda
Honda comes out
strong and tries to throw Frye out of his game plan by attacking
with a barrage of kicks and chops. Frye goes on the defensive
and rolls out of the ring. Honda rebounds off of the opposite
ropes dives through the ropes at Frye! Frye is down! Honda picks
him up and delivers a POWERBOMB ON THE FLOOR! Frye is trying
to get to his feet as Honda picks him up and throws him to the
steel rail! BANG....Frye hits hard as Honda rolls back into the
ring. Frye drags himself back in the ring but is clearly hurting.
Honda pulls him up...BIG CHOP! Frye answers back with a chop
of his own. Honda goes to deliver a side kick....Frye catches
the leg...hooks him...CRADLE SUPLEX!!! He goes for the cover...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT!!!
Frye is up as Honda comes up to his knees. Frye with a vicious
kick to Honda's head! Honda goes down. Frye comes off the ropes...elbow
drop! He's up again...another elbow drop!! Cover by Frye...ONE...TWO...TH...KICKOUT
by Honda! Frye changes tactics and puts Honda in a rear chinlock.
He squeezes down on Honda as he tries to wear him down. Honda
is reaching for the ropes...Frye breaks the hold and drags Honda
back to the center of the ring. He re-applies the chinlock! Honda
is really having a hard time catching his wind with Frye leaning
his weight on him. Frye pulls Honda up and signals his finisher,
the double arm brain-buster! He hooks him...Honda goes up...he
drops down behind Frye...BIG DROPKICK!!! Frye goes down hard!!!
Honda climbs to the top with his new found strength! He jumps...FRYE
ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!!! Honda hits the mat hard! Frye ties up
his legs...arches back...REVERSE STF...HONDA IS TAPPING OUT!!!

vs.
Hiroshi Hase & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi
Hase and Jeff
Hardy start out and put on a great exhibition of hold/counter
hold wrestling. Hase gets the advantage and catches Hardy in
a side head lock. Hardy shoot's him off to the ropes...he misses
a back elbow...cross body block by Hase. One...two...KICKOUT!
Hardy springs up and levels Hase with a fore arm shot! Jeff tags
his brother Matt in. Matt pulls Hase...STANDING DROPKICK! Hase
falls out of the ring. Hardy slingshots himself over the rope...he
lands on Hase!!! Hardy pulls him up...whips him to the steel
post!!! Hase may be out! Hardy rolls back into the ring. Hase
is bleeding from the head. Hardy taunts Kikuchi and the crowd
boos. Hase drags himself up and barely beats the 20 count. Hase
is in trouble. Hardy pulls him up and tags his brother back in.
Matt whips Hase to the ropes...DOUBLE DROPKICK BY THE HARDYS!!!
Hase goes down hard! Jeff pulls him up and sets him for a piledriver...Hase
flips him over! Hase falls in a heap, he can't make it to his
corner for the tag. Jeff hardy is up. He pulls Hase up and whips
him to the corner. He follows him in...HASE MOVES!!! Hardy hits
the corner hard! Hase grabs him...GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Hardy is stunned!
Hase reaches for the tag...he's almost there...Hardy is up...HASE
MAKES THE TAG!!! Kikuchi hits Jeff with a thrust kick and puts
him down! Matt Hardy rushes in...Kikuchi catches him...HURRICANRANA!!!
Kikuchi goes back to Jeff. He pulls him up, spinning neckbreaker!
Kikuchi pulls him up again...ABDOMINAL STRETCH! Hardy is in real
trouble! Matt Hardy runs in to break the hold and Hase comes
in after him. Matt and Hase are exchanging chops and kicks in
one corner, while Kikuchi and Jeff are in the other. Jeff hits
a low blow on Kikuchi! He hooks him...he's going for a vertical
suplex! Kikuchi reverses...BRAINBUSTER BY KIKUCHI!!! He goes
for the cover...ONE...TWO...THREE!!! Hiroshi Hase and Tsuyoshi
Kikuchi defeat The Hardy Boyz by pinfall at 27:12.

Championship Match
Masanobu Fuchi
vs.
Ricky Simcox
Fuchi and Simcox
begin the match with a "feeling out" period. At one
point Simcox executed a fantastic reversal and Fuchi stood up
and clapped along with the crowd! We join the match in progress
at the twenty minute mark as Fuchi has Simcox reeling from a
series of chops in the corner. Simcox stumbles forward and is
leveled by a European uppercut. Fuchi drags him into the center
of the ring...grabs the leg...HALF CRAB! He sits back and applies
incredible pressure! Simcox may be to young at 17 to compete
with a veteran like Fuchi on his level. Wait! Simcox is pushing
himself up! He's trying to escape....he's moving for the ropes....he's
down again! Fuchi reaches down and grabs Simcox's other leg and
puts him in a full crab! Fuchi stands and steps back and lowers
again. Simcox is bowed so far back that all of his and Fuchi's
weight is on his face and neck!!! The referee is asking Simcox
if he wants to quit. He won't quit! He's still going! Fuchi breaks
the hold, and goes for the pin. ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT! Fuchi
can't believe it! He pulls Simcox up..he's going for a belly-to-back
suplex...Simcox sinks to one knee to block the move. Fuchi hits
Simcox with a vicious slap to the back and pulls him back up...BELLY-TO-BACK
SUPLEX!!! He goes for the cover...ONE...TWO...THR..KICKOUT BY
SIMCOX!!! Fuchi shakes his head as he pulls Simcox up again
and nails him with a big chop! Fuchi shoots Simcox to the ropes,
Simcox reverses.....FLYING CLOTHESLINE BY SIMCOX!!! Fuchi goes
down and so does Simcox! The time keeper announces that one minute
remains in the thirty minute time limit! Fuchi is up first and
moves in on Simcox...Simcox jumps up and nails Fuchi with a big
right hand! The ref warns him about the closed fist! Simcox hits
Fuchi with another fist and Fuchi goes down! The ref gives Simcox
his final warning! Simcox BOWS to him and lands a BIG LEGDROP
on Fuchi. 10 SECONDS REMAINING as Simcox climbs to the top rope...SPLIT
LEG MOONSAULT!!! Simcox goes for the cover...ONE...TWO...THE
BELL SOUNDS....THE TIME LIMIT HAS EXPIRED!!! The match is
declared a time limit draw. Masanobu Fuchi retains the All Asia
Jr. Heavyweight Championship.

Toshiaki Kawada
vs.
Steve Williams
Wiliams and Kawada
are very wary of each other for the first few minutes of the
match. Both men are aware of the other's wide repertoire of moves.
Kawada takes control of the match when he catches Williams with
a dropkick and Williams falls through the ropes to the floor.
Kawada follows him out. He pulls Wiliams up and body slams him
back down. Kawada pulls the safety mat back and exposes the bare
floor! Kawada pulls Williams back up...he's setting him for a
powerbomb! Williams reverses...BACKDROP ON THE FLOOR! Kawada
is down! Williams rolls into the ring and starts to run in place
as the ref counts Kawada out. Kawada barely beats the count and
rolls back in. Williams immediately hooks Kawada in a cross face
arm bar. Kawada is too close to the ropes and the ref breaks
the hold. Williams jumps up and delivers two huge kicks to Kawada's
back! Kawada puts Williams on his back with a single leg take
down and starts to paint brush him with slaps to the face and
head. Williams rolls him over and fires back with three right
hands of his own! The ref breaks them up and they go at each
other again, throwing closed fists now! They tangle up and fall
out of the ring, fighting all the way to the floor! The referee
begins his count as Kawada whips Williams into the security rail.
Williams comes back with a HUGE CLOTHESLINE!!! Kawada goes down
hard! Williams drops an elbow on him and pulls him back up. Williams
goes to slam Kawada's head into the ring post...Kawada blocks...WILLIAMS
GOES INTO THE POST! Kawada rolls back into the ring and waits
for Williams. Williams slowly climbs into the ring and Kawada
is ready for him! He pulls Williams up...FOLDING POWERBOMB! Williams
shoulders are down...ONE...TWO...TH..KICK OUT!
Kawada pulls him up again...sets him...BACKDROP DRIVER!!! Kawada
goes for the pin again...ONE...TWO...THR..KICK OUT AGAIN BY WILLIAMS!
Kawada is clearly in disbelief as he pulls Williams up. SMALL
PACKAGE BY WILLIAMS! Kawada is pinned...ONE...TWO...REVERSAL
BY KAWADA...ONE...TWO...THR..KICK OUT!!! Both men get to their
feet at the same time and begin exchanging chops. Kawada hits
Williams with a side kick to the mid-section...hooks him..gut-wrench
suplex! Kawada drops a knee on Williams head and slaps him in
a side head lock. Williams can't reach the ropes from where he
is. Kawada grinds the hold tighter and tighter. Williams rolls
Kawada on his shoulders...ONE...TWO...KICK OUT!!! Kawada breaks
the headlock, stands up and kicks Williams in the face! Williams
jumps up with a surge of angry energy and levels Kawada with
a clothesline!!! He pulls Kawada up and clothesline's him again!
He goes for the cover...ONE...TWO...THR..KICK OUT!!! Williams
pulls him up again...BACKDROP DRIVER BY WILLIAMS!!! He hooks
the leg...ONE...TWO...THR..KICK OUT AGAIN BY KAWADA! Williams
is up and is signaling for the Oklahoma Stampede! He has him
up and...OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE!!! Here's the count...ONE...TWO...Kawada
get's his foot on the rope! Williams can't believe it!! He pulls
Kawada up and hooks him for a vertical suplex...Kawada blocks
it...he hooks the leg...FISHERMAN"S SUPLEX BY KAWADA!!!
Williams is down...ONE...TWO...THREE!!! Toshiaki Kawada defeats
Steve Williams by pinfall at 51:06 to retain the PWF/United National
Heavyweight Championship.
