Corey Edsel
6' 1" - 350 lbs.
Atlantic City, NJ

FWA-Carolinas Heavyweight Champion

In only two years in the business, this amazing youngster has already come a long way. After spending months soaking up knowledge from the likes of Rob "The Bull" McBride, L.A. Wild One, the Storm Brothers, and Jimmy "Boogie Woogie Man" Valiant, Edsel debuted with FWA Carolinas in a bitter feud with the seven foot Granite. But it wasn't until April 26th at Final Judgment that this talented big man finally made his mark, by upsetting Otto Schwanz, Madd Maxx, and three others to win a six pack challenge and become number one contender to the FWA Carolinas Heavyweight Title. In the main event that evening, Edsel came within inches of upsetting "NiteStic" Eddie Brown for the strap. While most people are thrown off by his size, Corey has been known to fly with the best of them, including an incredible sommersault senton, a top rope legdrop called the Colombia Jam, a shining enziguri, diving headbutts, standing moonsaults, and other innovative weapons rarely seen from athletes his size. Since his impressive showing at Final Judgment, Edsel is now in the thick of the Heavyweight title hunt and big things are definitely ahead for him. As a member of HYP, manager Brad Stutts has assured him that championship gold is now within his grasp. Recently captured the victory over 29 other wrestlers to become the 2002 Indy Rumble Champion and secure a heavyweight title match. After winning, Edsel knocked out his former manager Brad Stutts with a devastating "Shining Wizard" much to the delight of the fans. Defeated Otto Schwanz, one of the most dominant wrestlers on the east coast, to capture the FWA Carolinas Heavyweight Title
