FWA Carolinas Tag Team Champions
Former FWA-Carolinas Cruiserwt. Champion

HYRIDAZ = High RidersTrained by current WWF superstar "Hurricane" Shane Helms, Mikael Yamaha began his career as a pawn used by Gemini Kid with hopes of getting at Helms. The plan worked, and after constant attacks from Gemini, he and Helms entered into a feud that lasted for several years. Once Yamaha matured as a wrestler, he was no longer merely known as Shane Helms' trainee, but rather as an accomplished grappler in his own right. When the CWF re-launched in 2000, Yamaha had turned into one of the best cruiserweight prospects in the region and almost immediately began feuding once again with Gemini. Yamaha and Gemini engaged in a game of one-upmanship for over a year, with Yamaha eventually capturing the FWA Carolinas Cruiserweight Title from Gemini after putting his career on the line to get the shot. The wars did not end there however, as both men continued battling throughout the Carolinas, with Yamaha's girlfriend Amber Holly getting involved. Gemini eventually countered Holly with a female competitor of his own, GeeStar, and both men continued battling in title bouts and mixed tag matches. Yamaha held on to the title for just over a year, putting many opponents away with his Northern Lights Bomb, until finally dropping the title to his younger brother Sexton Tyler as part of a three-way-dance that also included Gemini. Now settling into an unfamiliar role as former champion, Yamaha remains one of the most popular and talented competitors on the FWA Carolinas roster.

Yamaha suffered a serious back injury but is back in action with his sights set on the FWA Carolinas Tag Team Titles. Expect to see Yamaha teamed up with his brother Sexton Tyler or his former rival Gemini Kid as they battle for the belts.
