 "Slick" Ric Converse
is among the fastest-rising young talents on the independent
scene today. Trained by veteran Ken Spence, Converse is always
accompanied by the equally controversial Special K and the two
have quickly become the most talked about tandem in FWA Carolinas.
The brash youngster has made no bones about his intents for the
FWA Carolinas Cruiserweight Title and his desire to prove superiority
over recent foe Mikael Yamaha. While Converse and K are perhaps
the most hated competitors currently on the FWA Carolinas roster,
Ric possesses the in-ring attributes to back up the majority
of his bragging. He can fly with the best of them, wrestle on
the ground, hold is own in any brawl, and may very well be as
good as he says he is. Special K's presence at ringside definitely
hurts nothing also, as she has been known to interfere on multiple
occasions. With the backing of the Hostile Youth Project, Ric
and K remain a thorn in the side of the popular Hirydaz. A showdown
between K and FWA World Women's Champion Amber Holly seems imminent
as the crowds continue to demand the two ladies hook it up, despite
the HYP's insistence that it will never happen. Regardless, Converse
and his manager possess all the tools necessary to make it straight
to the top.
