A record setting sound level was set in the Graham Recreation Center for the CWF/FWA-Carolina's "Final Judgement." A night of great wrestling action filled with some huge surprises.

Brad Rainz debuted in the CWF against the red hot Seymour Snott. The fans rallied behind Seymour and eventually Rainz was caught in the "Snott Drop" and pinned at the 8:09 mark. Snott continues to impress the fans and should be moving up the rankings.

Up next, Kenny James took on Jim Crockett Promotions veteran L.A. Stephens. The bout was hard fought but Stephens took control with powerful clotheslines and chops in the corner. James managed to get back on the offense and both men traded rear chinlocks until Stephens powered out with a big belly-to-belly suplex and stiff shots to the body. The crowd roared their approval as Stephens locked on a reverse Fujiwara armbar for the submission victory in 8:43.

Gemini Kid was out next for his "huge announcement." The always arrogant self-absorbed former champion was seemingly humbled while addressing the crowd. Gemini had GeeStar by his side and spoke of his Texas Death Match last month against Mikael Yamaha. Gemini revealed that Yamaha had finally earned his respect and called Yamaha to the ring. Gemini insisted Yamaha shake his hand to display his newfound respect. As Yamaha extended his hand to do so, GeeStar pulled Gemini's arm away and began berating him for even considering to shake the hand of Yamaha. She hurled insults about Yamaha and Amber Holly until Gemini pushed her back and once again attempted to shake Yamaha's hand.

"Slick" Ric Converse and Special K made their way to the ring and interrupted the handshake this time. Converse shoved Gemini out of the way, calling him an "old man." Converse then stated it was time for the youth to be on top. He challenged Yamaha to put his # 1 contenders spot on the line and said that Yamaha should shake HIS hand, as a way of agreeing to the match.

Yamaha agreed, but before they could seal the deal, Converse sucker-punched Yamaha. When Gemini went to intervene, GeeStar turned on her mentor kicking Gemini's leg out from under him. Converse then delivered a vicious DDT on Gemini and GeeStar locked on her version of the STF. Converse continued to stomp on Yamaha as ringside commentator Brad Stutts entered the ring. Stutts embraced Special K, Converse, and GeeStar. Amber Holly and Sexton Tyler made the save and ran the new alliance off, but not before Holly and Speical K had a brief confrontation in mid-ring.

From the floor, Stutts cut a passionate promo describing how the youthful talents like Converse and GeeStar were being held down by the CWF establishment in favor of the company's fair-haired boy Mikael Yamaha, his girlfriend, and his brother Sexton Tyler. Stutts announced the forming of his Hostile Youth Project (HYP). Yamaha recovered and formally accepted Ric's challenge, but insisted it be made into a mixed tag with the number one contender status on the line. The crowd cheered at the prospect of this match later in the evening.

Former FWA Carolinas Tag Team Champions The $outh$ide Playas were out next to face 1/2 of the new FWA Carolinas tag team champions, "Iceman" Joe Storm, and new partner, Rob "The Bull" McBride. A pier six brawl broke out with Storm attempting to use his kendo stick, even interrupting a pinfall attempt by J-Money on McBride after the Playas hit the "3-P." Storm and Money brawled to the floor, where Storm nailed him several times with the kendo stick as McBride encouraged his partner, until he fell victim to a schoolboy from Ca$h for the surprising three count after 11:36 of action.

FWA Carolinas Cruiserweight Champion, Sexton Tyler, faced J.T. Sparxx in a non-title matchup. Sparxx pushed the champion to his limits, even injuring his ribs. Tyler continued to kick out of pinfalls until he was able to nail Sparxx with the "Sexplex" (suplex into a diamond cutter) and scored the pinfall in 10:15. After the bout, Sparxx was approached by Brad Stutts and both left the ringside area together.

FWA Carolinas Heavyweight Champion "Nite Stic" Eddie Brown addressed the Graham crowd about how he would once again select his opponent for the night. Brown offered to defend it against several fans at ringside until Commissioner William L. Cross announced that Brown would have to defend his title in the main event against the winner of a six-pack challenge of top heavyweights in the region. Brown was less than thrilled when he was given the list of potential challengers.

Otto Schwanz, former heavyweight champion Madd Maxx, "Playboy" Tripp, Malaki, Corey Edsel and Kurt Solo would be the six participants in the one-fall contest. Tripp and Malaki started off, before making tags to rivals Schwanz and Maxx, who later made tags to sometimes rivals, sometimes allies Solo and Edsel. Schwanz and Solo briefly settled in, with both Maxx and Malaki breaking up a pinfall attempt until Solo tagged in Edsel, who blocked a drop-toehold attempt from Malaki and went to work on the young powerhouse. Madd Maxx showed an awesome display of power by dropping the 350-pound Edsel with a thunderous bodyslam, before Edsel tagged in Solo. Solo took to the air and attempted a corkscrew moonsault but was caught by Malaki in a sit-out powerbomb for a nearfall. Seemingly all five took turns pounding on Tripp at one point, including Maxx hitting a top-rope elbow before tagging in Malaki, and proceeding to brawl with Schwanz all over the building. Back in the ring, Malaki attempted to duplicate the bodyslam on Edsel but the big man shifted his weight and fell on top of Malaki for the pinfall and victory in 12:57, to become number one contender and earn a title shot in the main event.

The newly formed Hostile Youth Project (HYP) consisting of Brad Stutts, GeeStar, "Slick" Ric Converse, Special K, and J.T. Sparxx made their way to the ring for the mixed tag match that would pit Converse and Special K against Mikael Yamaha and Amber Holly. Before the match could start, Stutts sent GeeStar into the ring to take Special K's place which brought the wrath of the crowd upon the HYP even more.

Yamaha controlled the early moments with Converse, scoring a couple of nearfalls and double teaming with Holly, before tagging Amber in. GeeStar's attempts to interfere on Ric's behalf repeatedly backfired, but eventually the HYP took control of Amber, with both Ric and Gee scoring several nearfalls on the FWA World Women's Champion. Special K even got involved. Amber finally made the tag to Yamaha but referee Vern Stephens didn't see it. GeeStar went for her finishing maneuver, the GVD, but Amber countered it with the reverse DDT and then finally made the tag to Yamaha. Yamaha was all over Converse until he attempted a top-rope double axehandle and was nailed by the FWA World Women's Title belt that had been passed in the ring by Special K. Slick Ric rolled the belt out of the ring and made the three count in 10:54 to become new number one contender for the FWA Carolinas Cruiserweight Title.

After the bout, HYP continued attacking Holly and Yamaha, and as the ultimate act of disrespect for the "establishment," even beat down Commissioner William Cross until Sexton Tyler and Gemini Kid cleared the ring with a chair. From the floor, HYP made a challenge for May 11th at Spring Showdown, for Gemini Kid to TEAM with Mikael Yamaha and Amber Holly for a six person tag match. Gemini Kid extended his hand once again to Yamaha. The fans were chanting "Shake His Hand" so loud it was deafening. Yamaha finally shook his hand, something that seemed impossible only a few hours before. Amber Holly placed her hand on top of their two hands to solidify the six person team as the fans cheered wildly.

In the main event, FWA Carolinas Heavyweight Champion "Nite Stic" Eddie Brown defended his title against new number one contender, Corey Edsel. Edsel started off with ruckus shoulderblocks that sent the champ to the floor. Once back in the ring, the more experienced Nite Stic took control and slowed down the pace to his advantage. Edsel countered by using his size to his advantage and hit a big splash for a nearfall as well as a diving headbutt for another two count. Edsel continued battering the champion with a DDT and went for the top rope legdrop but missed. Nite Stic attempted the 911 (spinning gutwrench powerbomb) but Edsel was just too big and Brown threw his back out, bumping into referee Vern Stephens in the process. HYP's manager Brad Stutts hit ringside and tossed Corey a foreign object, but Edsel declined, saying he wanted to win the title on his own. When Edsel turned around, he was clobbered by the trusty nightstick of Brown and covered for the three count in 8:35. After the match Edsel was followed all the way to the dressing room by the leader of HYP, who reiterated that had Edsel listened to him, Corey would have won the title.
