Frances Fields was recently awarded the coveted Certified New Homes
Sales Professional (CSP) designation from the National Association of Home
Builders (NAHB) and the Greater Greensboro Builders Association. The CSP
designation is the only national certification course focusing specifically
on the study of selling new homes.
To achieve this distinction, each participant must successfully complete a comprehensive 24-hour, four-day educational program offered by the Greater Greensboro Builders Assocation on a joint venture basis with the NAHB. Each course participant is required to master all current principles of new home sales, including basic knowledge of home construction, differences between selling new and resale homes, the sales process, customer service, financing, and legal aspects of new home sales. Selling skills such as qualifying buyers, handling objections, demonstrating the product and closing the sale are rehearsed as part of the classroom instrution.
