Jeff Richards is asking RazorBlade if he wants to give up. RazorBlade is struggling to reach the ropes. Gemini is wrenching his head and grabs his arm, preventing RazorBlade from making the ropes. Nord the Warlord vs. Peter Coldova

 

A battle of the powerhouses as Nord and Coldova exchanges punches, chops, and clotheslines. Coldova whips Nord into the ropes and manager Paul Buchanan jabs his cane into Nord's kidney area. Nord stumbles off the ropes and Coldova hooks him for a piledriver. Coldova lands it bigtime! He covers Nord and Sandy Barr counts: One, two, three!!! Omega has the Liquidator hooked. But Surge powers up and flips Omega over his back! Surge drops down and turns it into a backdrop driver! Surge holds onto Omega's arms as they hit...Surge is on top, Jeff Richards counts: One, two...Omega's manager Susan has entered the ring and nailed Surge in the face with her spiked heel shoe! Richards signals for the bell. Surge is down, holding his face. Omega is up and stomping on him. Susan is smacking Surge on the back. The bell is still ringing. The pair finally exits the ring. Referee Jeff Richards holds up Surge's arm declaring Surge the victor by disqualification at 10:22 *1/2

Madd Maxx vs. Power

It's definitely an extreme match as Madd Maxx and Power have beaten each other with everything...including a kitchen sink! Maxx stuns Power with a dropkick. He tosses Power back outside of the ring. Maxx places Power on the table. He going to piledrive him through it! NO! Power stands up and backdrops Maxx into the dumpster at ringside. Power picks up the table and throws it into the dumpster too! Maxx is not getting out. Power climbs onto the dumpster and pulls Maxx out. He rolls Maxx into the ring. Power hooks him for his finisher...he nails Maxx with the Power Surge! Sandy Barr counts: One, two, three! Power pins Maxx in 15:38 *** The crowd cheers Power.

HICAL (c) vs. Buddy Landel

 

Landel locks in the Figure-4. HICAL is in trouble. He's trying to make the ropes but he can't! Jeff Richards asks if he wants to submit. HICAL says NO! HICAL is fighting it, but his shoulders fall to the mat. Richards counts: One, two, shoulder up. Landel reaches up and grabs the ropes for added leverage. The crowd is screaming at the referee. Boos are filling the arena. HICAL is screaming in pain. His shoulders hit the mat. Richards counts: One, two, three!!! Referee Jeff Richards turns and sees Landel using the ropes. He signals the match to continue! Landel is berating Richards. HICAL reaches up and school-boys Landel. Jeff Richards counts: One, two, three!!! HICAL has pinned Buddy Landel to retain his TV Title at 13:11 ***1/4 The crowd is giving HICAL a standing ovation.

Special Interview

 

("Breathe" by Prodigy blares out over the PA but noone walks out. The
music keeps playing and nothing is happening. A camera goes back stage
and finally find The Crazy Ones walking toward the ring. They are
walking slowly. They stop every once and awhile and throw chairs and
tables around. They are tearing things apart.)

(They finally make their way to the curtain. Their music blares out
over the PA again and the Maniac and The Link walk down to the ring.The
fans boo loudly and they take it in stride.)

(They enter the ring and and hold the tag titles over their heads asthe
crowd boos. The Maniac is handed a mic.)

Manaic: SHUT THE HELL UP! (The booing grows louder) YOU PEOPLE, HEE
HEE, ARE WORTHLESS LOSERS! Now onto to, hee hee, buisness. (The Link
walks over to the corner and sits on the top rope.) Hey Mr. Owens, hee
hee, it looks like we messed up the back a little bit, oops. We feel,
hee hee, so sorry (a big grin comes over the Maniacs face). Well not
really, hee hee, we actually could care less about what happens because
Owens you know, hee hee, we are your biggest draw and you need us.

(Trash is being thrown in the ring. The Maniac looks around at the
people and flips the crowd the middle finger. The Link stands up onthe
turnbuckle and threatens the crowd.)

Maniac: SCREW YOU PEOPLE! WE ARE YOUR CHAMPIONS, HEE HEE, WHETHER YOU
LIKE IT OR NOT! Now tonight, hee hee, we are finally going to end the
careers of two teams, hee hee, that are a real pain in our asses. Alpha
Males, hee hee, you know you have beat us once and let me tell you, hee
hee, that will be the last time you beat us. But the thing, hee hee,is
you used the help of that punk Buddy Landel , hee hee, but tonight you
will not have his help. You boys, hee hee, are going to find out that
one on one, hee hee, we are the best there is. Tonight, hee hee, the
cage will be erected and we will HURT both of you, hee hee, instead of
just one of you.

(The Link gets out of the ring and goes after the crowd. The security
stops him and he gets back in the ring and stands beside the Maniac.)

Maniac: It's okay, hee hee, Link you will get to beat up people real
soon. Now, hee hee, Serial Thrillaz you bring in someone to help you
out, hee hee, well who cares. You can bring in anyone, hee hee, you
want and we still beat the crap out of you. So tonight, hee hee, we
will all get in the cage, hee hee, and once it is all done the four of
you can share a nice hospital room together because that is where you
are going to end up. (The crowd boos louder.) SHUT UP! Damn, hee hee,
you people are annoying. So tonight, hee hee, Alpha Males and Serial
thrillaz, hee hee, you will FEEL THE......

(The Maniac puts the mic in front of The Link.)Link: PPPPPPPPPAAAAAAIIIINNNNNN!

(The Manic takes the mic back.)

Manic: One more thing, hee hee, Mr. Owens, hee hee, we have some money
in the back for you, hee hee, why don't you come back there and get it.
See everyone, hee hee, real soon. BE AFRAID, HEE HEE, BE VERY VERY AFRAID!

(The Maniac throws the mic to the ground and they both raise theirbelts
in the air as "Breathe" blares out over the PA again. Trash is being
thrown from evry direction. They leave the ring and walk back to the
dressing room to a chorus of boos.)

Gary Brown (c) vs. Mystery Opponent

 

Gary Brown comes to the ring to meet promoter Don Owens. Owens shakes Brown's hand and speaks into the microphone, "I know everyone, including yourself, is wondering who the mystery opponent is. To tell you the truth, originally, is was someone other than who you're going to face tonight. But since you accomplished the task of dethroning Titan for me, I have decided to change who that is." Brown looks a little nervous. Owens continues, "Your opponent tonight will be...Gerry Kenntt." Brown grabs the mic, "Who?" Owens pulls it back, "Who is right. He's a big fat good-for-nothing sorry excuse for a wrestler. Consider this your reward for defeating Titan." Brown grabs the mic again, "Then you won't mind me beating the h*ll out of him tonight, cause that's just what I'm going to do." Owens takes the mic back, "Nothing would make me happier. Enjoy yourself tonight. But remember, next time, you'll have a real challenger."

Gerry Kennett makes his way to the ring. The bell rings and Gary Brown destroys Kennett with punches and stiff chops. Brown lays him out with a series of clotheslines followed by a brainbuster. Brown is laughing as he drops a knee right in Kennett's forehead, splitting it open. Brown whips Kennett into the turnbuckle. Brown climbs up and hooks Kennett's head. Suddenly he sees Blade running to the ring. Brown quickly spins and delivers a Tornado DDT on Kennett. Sandy Barr counts: One, two, three! Brown gets the pinfall at 4:21 to retain his title. Blade his the ring and almost grabs Brown as he slides under the bottom rope to escape. Blade goes out after him and chases Brown up the aisle to the locker-rooms. *

Slim Dragger (c) vs. The Grappler

The Grappler takes the early advantage. Using his vast technical skills, he has Slim Dragger in danger of losing his belt. The Grappler slams Dragger hard to the mat and head for the top turnbuckle. He reaches into his trunks and pulls out a small, wrapped with tape piece of metal. Grappler places it into his mask and turns to leap off with a headbutt. However, Slim Dragger has climbed up to meet Grappler at the top. Dragger hooks him and hoists Grappler up dropping both to the mat with a devastating superplex. Dragger rolls over for the cover. Jeff Richards counts: One, two, kickout. Dragger exits the ring and gets a chair. He brings it into the ring and nails Grappler with it. He covers Grappler, Richards counts: One, two, in the ropes. Jeff Richards kicks the chair out of the ring. Dragger picks up The Grappler and flips Grappler's left arm over Dragger's head. Dragger hits a back suplex and holds onto it for the pinfall. Referee Jeff Richards counts: Both men's shoulders are on the mat! One, two, Dragger and Grappler lift opposite shoulders. Richards counts three! Richards signals for the bell. Who won? Richards takes the belt and is heading to The Grappler...he goes past and hands the belt to Dragger and raises his arm. Grappler is going berserk! Dragger gets the pinfall at 18:19 ***3/4

Trent Phillips (c) vs. Bobby MacGreggor (PNW Champion)

 

The two champions circle the ring. Last night's match is fresh in their minds. They lock up, collar-and-elbow. Various holds and reverses are executed by both. So far it's a stalemate. Phillips gets the advantage and whips MacGreggor into the turnbuckle. Phillips charges in with a knee, but MacGreggor moves! Phillips' knee crashes into the turnbuckle. He's rolling on the mat, holding his knee. MacGreggor grabs his leg and begins dropping kneedrops into it. He kicks Phillips in the knee repeatedly. MacGreggor sits Phillips left leg onto the bottom rope. MacGreggor jumps up and lands on Phillips' outstretched leg. Phillips is hurting. MacGreggors signals and gets the Figure-4 locked on Phillips. He struggles...Richards asks Phillips if he wants to submit...he's still reaching out...he makes the ropes. Phillips exits the ring and MacGreggor follows him. MacGreggor whips Phillips into the guardrail, but Phillips reverses it. Phillips picks up MacGreggor and drops him for a kneebreaker right on the guardrail. MacGreggor falls over the guardrail into the crowd. Phillips pulls him back over and drops his knee on the guardrial again. Phillips throws MacGreggor back into the ring. Trent signals and applies the Figure-4 on MacGreggor! He's really got it clamped tight. MacGreggor is fighting it...he can't make the ropes...he rolls over and reverses the pressure!!! Phillips is wailing, struggling to the ropes which he finally makes. Phillips begs off into the corner. MacGreggor goes after him. Trent reaches up and grabs the trunks, pulling MacGreggor into the corner, hitting the turnbuckle. Phillips then slides out of the ring and grabs MacGreggor's left leg. He smashes it into the ringpost. Another smash into the ringpost. Phillips locks on the Figure-4 from outside of the ring around the ringpost. MacGreggor is screaming in pain! Sandy Barr reaches the ten count. He signals for the bell. MacGreggor wins by countout at 25:31. Phillips is still not breaking the hold. He's definitely dishing out some payback tonight to MacGreggor. Phillips finally breaks the hold. He walks over to the timekeeper's table and picks up his United States Heavyweight Belt and holds it high in the air as he walks up the aisle. The crowd is booing him out of the building. MacGreggor can't stand up. He's gets some help, leaning on Joey Stylish to exit the arena. The fans are clapping for him as he leaves. ***

"Ladies and gentlemen...this is your main event of the evening..." The announcer's voice is drowned out immediately by the rap sounds of Dirty Ol' Bastard. "Oh baby I like it RAW, yeah baby I like it RAW..." The crowd erupts with boos as The Serial Thrillaz enter the arena. They are accompanied by Venom. All three are wearing Serial Thrillaz t-shirts. They slowly make their way to the ring. Mike Maverick climbs up on the second rope and starts his "Big Daddy Dance." Shane Helms grabs the microphone as Venom holds the announcer. "Yo, cut the music." The crowd continues to boo the three. "Yo, yo, yo, you bunch of backwoods b*st*rds! Get the *&%# outta your seats and give up the props for the next NeWA World Tag Team Champions...da Serial Thrillaz!" The crowd's boos are deafening. They begin to hail down crushed cups and ice into the ring. Another song begins to play, the crowd turns and begins to cheer...The Alpha Males appear. They make their way to the ring, the Pacific Northwest Tag Team belts around their waists. Buddy Landel is walking behind them carrying a baseball bat. The three, known as the Wulfpac, enter the ring. The two teams begin taunting each other. The Alpha Males are introduced. Then the speakers begin to blare "Breathe" by Prodigy. There is a long delay...finally The Crazy Ones come through the curtains. The entire arena begins to boo. Trash begins raining down from the stands onto the NeWA World Tag Team Champions as they approach the ring. Fans attempt to take a few cheap shots, but security holds them back. As the three teams are finally in the ring, a giagantic cage begins to lower. It is twenty feet high with a caged roof. The "Hell-in-a-Cell" covers the ring plus about ten feet of the ringside area. There is no way in or out unless the cage is raised. Referee Jeff Richards is the only non-combatant in the cell. Venom and Buddy Landel stand at the corner of the cage where their team is based.

All six begin fighting. It looks more like a battle royal as everyone is going after each other. Eventually referee Jeff Richards get just three wrestlers in the ring. Maniac Mike, Shane Helms, and Wendigo Rockamora are going at it. Surprisingly, Rockamora and Helms begin to work together to beat on Maniac Mike. But as they have him down for the pin attempt, they each continue to pull the other off to prevent the pinfall. Now Helms and Rockamora are going at it, allowing Maniac Mike to tag in The Missing Link. Link clotheslines both from behind and covers Wendigo. Richards begins to count but moves out of the way as both Fenris Cole and Mike Maverick enter the ring for the save. The Alpha Males and The Serial Thrillaz pair off on Maniac Mike and The Missing Link. They each are working over The Crazy Ones. Referee Jeff Richards doesn't know what to do. He jumps out of the ring to get out of the way. Landel begins to slide the baseball bat into the ring. Venom comes up from behind him with a chain wrapped around his fist. He clobbers Landel in the back of the head. The bat falls outside of the cage. Venom passes the chain to Maverick inside of the cage. Maverick wraps is around his fist and decks Cole. Inside of the ring, Rockamora has Link hooked for "The Howl." Helms is down with Maniac Mike astride him, punching him repeatedly. The Rock nails Link with his finisher. As he covers Link, Maverick drills Rockamora in the back of his head with a fist wrapped with the chain. Rockamora is out, blood is dripping from his head. Maverick then grabs Maniac Mike and tosses him over the top rope. Maverick flips the chain to Helms as Maverick goes after Maniac Mike. Helms takes the chain and wraps it around The Missing Link's neck. He turns and pulls Link up off the ground, back-to-back, choking Link out with the chain. The Missing Link is choked out cold. Helms covers him. Jeff Richards counts: One, two, Fenris Cole breaks the count with a huge stomp to the head of Helms. Cole picks up Helms and powerbombs him. Cole covers Helms...One, two...Maniac Mike makes the save. Maverick and Rockamora are fighting outside of the ring. Cole grabs Maniac Mike and powerbombs him! Cole covers him...Jeff Richards counts: One, two...Helms breaks up the count. The Missing Link is still lying limp in the ring. Maverick whips Rockamora into the cage. He then pulls a chair out from under the ring and slides it to Helms inside the ring. Rockamora reaches outside the cell and pulls in the baseball bat. He nails Maverick with it from behind. It splits Maverick's head open. Helms swings the chair at Maniac Mike, who is being held by Fenris Cole. Maniac Mike executes a reverse kick that hits Cole in the crotch. Both bend forward and the chair strikes Cole in the back of his head. Suddenly The Missing Link is up! He picks up the chain and wraps it from behind around Helms' neck! He's choking Helms out!! Maniac Mike turns and covers Fenris Cole. Rockamora is going under the bottom rope, but Mike Maverick grabs his foot from the floor. Jeff Richards counts: One, two, three!!! The Crazy Ones win the Hell-in-a-Cell to retain their World Tag Team Titles in 42:01. ****1/2
