The Corvallis, Oregon show was a night of action and surprises. Wendigo Rockamora captured the final qualifying spot for the PNW Regional Finals of the Lou Thesz International Champion of Champions Tournament by pinning Power. However the night wasn't a total loss for Power, as he captured the TV Title from HICAL. The biggest surprise of the night came as promoter Don Owens had promised the fans a fantastic tag team bout as PNW Tag Team Champions, The Alpha Males defended against Maximum Carnage. Owens had brought in armed guards to prevent any interferece from NeWA World Tag Team Champions, The Crazy Ones. But Maniac Mike and The Missing Link did get into the action, knocking out both teams and the referee!!! Owens is livid and has stated backstage that he will have his revenge tonight at the National eWrestling Alliance's pay-per-view, "Halloween Hell '98."
In other news, Don Owens welcomes Nightwing to "the proving grounds."
The match on November 1st between Power and Omega has now been changed to make it a TV Title Match.

On Saturday, the Rose Garden in Portland will host the deadliest match in PNW history, as The Crazy Ones put their NeWA World Tag Team Titles up for grabs in a Triple-Threat Hell-in-a-Cell Match against The Serial Thrillaz and PNW Tag Team Champions, The Alpha Males. The North American Champion, Slim Dragger will face The Grappler in a No-DQ rematch for the belt. HICAL defends his TV Title against Buddy Landel. Plus the Western States Heritage Title will be officially defended for the first time as Titan is signed to wrestle a mystery opponent. This will be a sell-out. The big show in Spokane, Washington was a huge success, with over 14,000 fans in the arena. There were some title changes and lots of surprises. Promoter Don Owens is seeking legal action against The Crazy Ones. A statement will be issued after consulting with PNW lawyers. We don't have any updates on The Serial Thrillaz other than they did not appear on the Spokane show due to injuries suffered by Maniac Mike and The Missing Link. They were released from the hospital on Sunday afternoon. The reports on The Alpha Males are sketchy, but Wendigo Rockamora did have to get a blood transfusion. Both received concussions and are in the hospital for observation. The unknown masked wrestler that appeared in Spokane is still unknown. We have no idea who he is or why he attacked Titan. We will update you as we get more details.
We would like to welcome some new talent that has entered PNW. Manager Paul Buchanan has arrived with "Grizzley" Peter Coldova and cruiserweight RazorBlade. Also new in is a wrestler known simply as Omega. All three will be debuting next weekend. We look forward to their appearances.

Whoever wins that match will be declared the official Western States Heritage Champion. The second night of PNW action in Idaho was held in Moscow and saw some very good matches as well as a couple of surprises. HICAL showed up for an impromptu bout, much to the fans pleasure. Also NeWA World Tag Team Champions, The Crazy Ones, made an unexpected appearance, attacking PNW Tag Team Champions, The Serial Thrillaz. Both Thrillaz were treated at a local hospital. PNW has reached an agreement for a NeWA World Title Match to be held very soon in "the proving grounds." The World Champion, "Phenomenon" Adam Riggs is looking forward to the title defense but as yet his challenger has not been named. The date and opponent will be announced later this week. North American Champion, Slim Dragger has demanded a rematch against his opponent at the "Seattle Supercard," The Grappler. Dragger was pinned and apparently had lost the title until referee Jeff Richards noticed a foreign object in The Grappler's mask and reversed the decision. Dragger has stated that he will prove why he is the North American Champion in this much anticipated rematch to take place at the "Portland Pestilence" show on October 10th. As mentioned earlier, promoter Don Owens had removed Top Gun from the list of "gauntlet opponents" for Titan's quest to have the Western States Heritage Title recognized. Mr. Owens has now secured a more successful opponent to face Titan in the deciding fifth bout. Gary Brown has signed to meet Titan on October 9th in Astoria, Oregon. Lastly, a tournament will be held for the PNW Cruiserweight Championship in November. Current NeWA World Lightweight Champion, Juventud Guerrera, has guaranteed that this title will be considered the #1 contender for his belt. Interested cruiserweights should contact promoter Don Owens or visit the PNW Message Board.
