I've made some changes to the bookings for some upcoming shows based on some recent challenges and title changes.
PNW invades Boise, Idaho, on October 2nd. Power gets his first crack at the TV Title which he came close to winning in the Battle Royal tournament as he faces champion Madd Maxx. The Serial Thrillaz will defend the PNW Tag Team Titles against #1 contenders, The Alpha Males, in a special Street Fight Rules Match. Also Bobby MacGreggor will defend the PNW Title against United States Champion, Trent Phillips.
PNW is in Moscow, Idaho, on October 3rd. The Alpha Males will receive individual title shots on the card. Fenris Cole will square off for the PNW Title, and Wendigo Rockamora will get a TV Title shot.
Titan is getting a PNW Title shot on 10-4 in Spokane, Washington. If he wins the title, he will get the US Title shot he wants. Also that same night, former TV Champion, HICAL, will receive a much deserved rematch for the TV Title.
10-9 in Astoria, Oregon, is scheduled to be the #5 match in the gauntlet, as Titan faces Top Gun. Based on Guns' recent poor performance, I am replacing him with a yet to be named opponent. Randy Taylor will get a TV Title shot, and the PNW Champion (currently Bobby MacGreggor) will get a U.S. Title shot against "Tradition" Trent Phillips.
The next "supershow" is 10-10 in Portland, Oregon. Four big matches are signed so far. Titan will face a mystery opponent in his final challenge to get his Western States Heritage Title recognized. If he wins this match, PNW will recognize the title as a regional championship encompassing the entire west coast. The TV Champion (currently Madd Maxx) will defend against "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel. The PNW champion (currently Bobby MacGreggor) will face Trent Phillips for the United States Title. And the main event, the match that has caused the "Portland Pestilence" - a 3-way Hell-in-a-Cell as The Crazy Ones defend their NeWA World Tag Team Titles against PNW Tag Team Champions, The Serial Thrillaz and The Alpha Males.
Fans, you don't want to miss any of this action when it comes to or near your town. Get you tickets now as a sell-out is expected for several of these shows. If you can't make it there, check back here for full results of all the action.

Several big items of news. First is promoter Don Owens has issued his judgements on some recent questionable actions here in the PNW. Read his official statement of judgement. Next is the world-wide NeWA sponsored Lou Thesz International Champion of Champions Tournament. This tournament is officially endoresed by former NWA World Champion, Lou Thesz. Each territory will host the qualifying rounds to determine a regional entrant for the round robin tournament that will be held in November at "Battle-Bowl." The winner will receive the Thesz Cup and a World Title Match at "BattleCade" on December 28th. Those interested should view the link to get all the information. Results from last night's show in Olympia, Washington are posted as two titles changed hands. The match of the night was the main event, as The Grappler defended his Pacific Northwest Title against #1 contender and former champion, Bobby MacGreggor. This match saved what was a not so good card as fans have rated this match an unbelieveable 5-stars! Also posted are Official Rating which are submitted to the National eWrestling Alliance for their World Rankings twice a month.

The Seattle Supercard was a super success in the Supersonic's Superdome! Did I say it was super??? The matches were all solid. There were quite a few surprises during the night. Some very controversial things happened and promoter Don Owens is reviewing video tape right now to decide what, if any, action needs to be taken. Owens has declared in a written statement that he will announce the judgement after questioning all parties involved and reviewing all available video tapes. Back to the Supercard, over 28,000 fans packed the Dome to witness the PNW's biggest show ever. Promoter Don Owens stated that having the prestigious World Tag Team Titles, the North American Title, and the World Lightweight Title on the line, along with the debut of U.S. Champion, Trent Phillips, insured a sell-out crowd. The main event, The Crazy Ones defending the World Tag Team Titles against The Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champions, The Serial Thrillaz, has already been declared a "match-of-the-year" candidate by many fans that witnessed the "falls count anywhere" bout. Dave Meltzer, editor of the insider newsletter, The Wrestling Observer, was heard to have said, "This was, by far, the best tag team match I've ever seen live. It had everything...great moves, great psychology, hardcore violence, a great build up, and a great finish. When was the last time you can remember a match has gone nearly sixty minutes and still had the fans cheering for more? The only person I know that could do it...can I use the "F" word here? You know...Flair!" It is for certain that a rematch will be in the makings after the response from fans to this one. Ratings have changed based on tonight's results.

What a night of wrestling in Longview, Washington! There isn't enough room to update you enough on what happened. Follow the link above to get all the results. The Television Title was decided in an exciting one-night tournament that consisted of a Battle Royal with the final two participants squaring off in a "Falls Count Anywhere Match" to decide the championship. Something BIG happened in the PNW Tag Team Title Match! And The Grappler successfully defended his PNW Title and will get the North American Title shot tomorrow night at the Seattle Supercard. The Supercard is loaded from top to bottom with great matchups. The main event has World Tag Team Champions, The Crazy Ones, defending against the PNW Tag Team Champions (check results to see who are the champions). North American Champion, Slim Dragger, defends against PNW Champion, The Grappler. We will see the debut of United States Champion, "Tradition" Trent Phillips, in a special added attraction non-title bout against Buddy Landel. "Hurricane" Randy Taylor will also make his first appearance. The gaunlet continues for Titan and his so-called Western States Heritage belt, plus many other matches. Be sure to see it live in the dome. If you can't make it, check back here for full results! Rankings have been updated based on tonight's matches.

This weekend will be full of action. Friday night a Television Champion will be crowned in Longview, Washington. We will have a ring full of top wrestlers in a special battle royal to crown our TV Champion. The final two remaining will square off in a "Falls Count Anywhere Match" to determine the championship. Also on the card is the Special Challenge #2 from Don Owens as Titan takes on the vicious Nord the Warlord. This bout is part of a five challenge match series concerning the controversial Western States Heritage Title that Titan claims to hold. Two big rematches for the PNW singles and tag team belts as The Serial Thrillaz defend against The Alpha Males and The Grappler defends against former champion, Bobby MacGreggor. Not only are the champions putting up their titles, but their title shots on Saturday's Seattle Supercard! That's right, The PNW Champion is scheduled to battle Slim Dragger for the North American Title. Should The Grappler lose the belt, MacGreggor will get the title shot. And in the main event in Seattle, The PNW Tag Team Champions will face World Tag Team Champions, The Crazy Ones, in their debut in Pacific Northwest Championship Wrestling. Should The Alpha Males win the PNW Tag Titles on Friday, they will get the World Title shot in Seattle instead of The Serial Thrillaz. You can check back here for all the results of this weekends shows if you cannot be there live.

The action does not slow down for a minute here in the Pacific Northwest. Vancouver, Washington saw a title change yesterday as The Grappler captured the PNW Title from Bobby MacGreggor in his first title defense. The big tag team title rematch was almost as exciting as the tournament final bout. The Serial Thrillaz out-paced The Alpha Males to retain their belts. Many other exciting matches keep the crowd going wild. Each match helps determine our rankings and future title shots. You can move up the rankings and secure big matches by winning your undercard bouts. Hit the message board to issue a challenge or contact promoter Don Owens.

The tournament finals set attendance records in Portland, Oregon, as over 18,000 fans poured into the arena to see the Pacific Northwest singles and tag team titles decided. It was an incredible night of wrestling action and no wrestler should hold their head down. The two tournament final bouts were probably the best action the Pacific Northwest has ever seen! Our new champion is Bobby MacGreggor, who has shocked the territory with upset after upset wins in the tournament, defeated The Grappler. The lowest ranked has indeed captured the gold, much to the pleasure of the fans. While the fans did see probably the match of the year in the tag team finals, they were not as happy as to the ending. The Serial Thrillaz downed the popular Alpha Males to take the tag team championships.
Both championships will be defended today in Vancouver, Washington, in a rematch of the tournament finals. This will be the chance for revenge as the champions make their mandatory title defenses against the number one contenders.
Sept 18, 1998
The tournament finals are now set after an exciting night of wrestling in Corvallis. The double shot endurance challenge of The Alpha Males proved very exciting. Both members lost their singles matches in controversial fashion. After these losses few expected them to fair any better in their tag team tournament match. But "The Rock" landed his patented finisher to down Stephen Doll of The Southern Rockers and advance to the finals. The Alpha Males will face the much hated Serial Thrillaz in the championship bout. The Grappler will face surprise finalist, Bobby MacGreggor, for the singles title.

Big news from the PNW offices..."Tradition" Trent Phillips, former United States Champion, has signed to appear in "the proving grounds" for an extended stay. Phillips had previously signed for a two day tour, to be defending the U.S. Title both nights. Phillips has vowed to recapture the title...perhaps right here on one of those nights.
Other important news deals with the so-called Western States Heritage Champion, Titan. I call him "so-called" because the title is non-existant as far as the Pacific Northwest is concerned. Apparantly, Titan purchased this belt from a belt maker and now wants to defend it in this territory. Titan has also "challenged" me to schedule five "defenses" to prove he has a real championship. Well, Titan, the good news is you've got your five matches to prove yourself. You'll face Nord the Warlord, Windigo Rockamora, HICAL, The Equalizer, and Top Gun in a series of bouts. The bad news is that if, and I do mean IF, you retain your trophy, you'll have one more match against a mystery opponent. Then, and only then, will I recognized the championship.
Check the schedule page for updates. More matches have been added based on recent challenges. And don't forget to stop by the Portland Sports Arena to record your interviews. We'll have the camera crews there all week along with our announcers. It's your chance to tell our fans and fellow wrestlers what you think about them.

A special challenge match has been signed for Sept 18th in Corvallis, Oregon as Titan will battle "The Rock" Wendigo Rockamora. "The Rock" joins his partner is a test of endurance as now both Alpha Males will perform double shots - wrestling twice on the same show. Up for grabs is a title belt which Titan claims is the NeWA Western States Championship. Unfortunately for Titan, this title is not recognized by the Pacific Northwest, however, we will allow this belt to be given to the winner as a trophy. The real champion in the northwest will be decided on Sept 19th in Portland.
Notice is hereby given to all wrestlers that the Pacific Northwest Television Title will be decided on Sept 25th in Longview, Washington. A special Battle Royal will be held and the final two wrestlers left will square off in a "Falls Count Anywhere Match." The victor will be presented the TV Title. The show will be taped for broadcast on the PNW Syndication Network throughout the northwest. The Battle Royal is open to everyone except for the current and #1 ranked contenders, as they will be battling for those titles on the same show. Any wrestler that would like to be added to the Battle Royal can notify promoter Don Owens of his intentions to enter.

Another great night of action, this time in Oregon City, Oregon. Full results are now available for this big night of upsets. The first man to qualify for the finals is Bobby MacGreggor, the lowest ranked in the tournament, and has now defeated two #1 ranked wrestlers, and will have to make it three next week to capture the PNW Title. Other important news is the Roleplay Message Board is up. The link to it is on the Schedule page. Get there to get ready for the post title tournament action and don't forget to send in your NEW PROFILES for TNM7.
The Pacific Northwest would also like to announce that we have several established wrestlers that we are proud to announce are calling "the proving grounds" their home. NeWA World Tag Team Champions, The Crazy Ones (Maniac Mike & The Missing Link) have checked themselves into a fine asylum in Portland and intend on getting out each weekend for action here. The Hell Razas, Titan and NeWA World Lightweight Champion Juvetud Guerrera, have informed me that they intend to stay in the area for quite some time. We look forward to seeing them more in action here. Mid-Atlantic Wrestling has sent HICAL to tour the Pacific Northwest for an extended stay. Best of luck to him. Also Central States tag team, The Alpha Males are already enjoying some success here in the tournaments. They may stay longer than expected. And of course, our regulars, without whom we wouldn't exist. Best of luck to you all. Fans, we are only going to get bigger and better!!!
Sept 12, 1998
The Eugene show has only proven that the fans are supportive of the Pacific Northwest Wrestling. Another large crowed showed up to see some truely exciting matches, including three fantastic tournament bouts. A fourty minute plus mat classic was witnessed by over 4,000 fans during the singles tournament match between The Grappler and Billy Jack. An interesting aspect of the tournament results will cause Fenris Cole to do a double shot on Sept 18 as he is scheduled to wrestle in both the singles and tag team semi-finals that night. It will be quite a feat should Cole have the endurance to advance in both tournaments that night.
Sept 11, 1998
The Medford show has to be called a huge success. Pacific Northwest Wrestling wowed its fans with a great night of action. Three first round matches were decided for the singles title including one huge upset and one tag team tournament match was held. The two additional non-tournament matches were just as exciting. Over 3,000 fans poured into the small but adequate Medford Civic Center to witness history in "the proving grounds." We're all looking forward to tomorrow's show in Eugene, Oregon, a long-time host of Pacific Northwest Championship Wrestling. There we will resolve the rest of the first round matches.
Sept 9, 1998
Interest is booming in the Pacific Northwest area. Promoter Don Owens has been flooded with requests to enter "the proving grounds." The upcoming title tournaments are now filled. The tournament begins this Friday and first round action will be great. A detailed card will be posted shortly. Also of note, two more major titles will be defended on the upcoming "Seattle Supershow" on Sept. 26th. Juvetud Guerrera has agreed to defend the NeWA World Lightweight Title and Dory Funk, Jr. has signed to defend the North American Title in Seattle, Washington as well. Funk has a title defense against Slim Dragger on Sept 13th. Should Dragger capture the belt he will fulfill the committment to defend the title in Seattle. A full card will be announced soon for what is turning into the biggest show in the northwest in some time.
